Abstract

This invention relates to a benzidamine hydrochloride-loaded vaginal ring system produced by stereolithography (SLA). In this method, benzidamine hydrochloride is dissolved in ethanol and added to a composition containing QSUN photopolymer resin, PEG 400, and distilled water to prepare the printing composition. This composition is then photopolymerized layer by layer on an SLA printer to produce a controlled-release, mucoadhesive vaginal ring.
