HEAT RECOVERY UNIT CONTROL SYSTEM

Abstract

The invention relates to a control system (1) for a heat recovery unit that performs the functions of conditioning the room air and heating the domestic hot water. The control system (1) includes a tank temperature sensor (40), a room temperature sensor (50), an outside air temperature sensor (110), a tank interface (60), and a processor unit (10). The novelty of the invention is that the processor unit (10) operates the heat recovery unit in heating or cooling mode according to the outside air temperature data and the room temperature data, determines the domestic hot water requirement according to the tank temperature data and the domestic hot water set value, and activates the external electric heater (70) by preventing the refrigerant in the compressor discharge line from being directed to the heat transfer line when the tank temperature data is below the threshold value.
