Abstract
The invention relates to a functional composite yarn obtained by combining sheep wool fibers and copper fibers in specific ratios and homogeneously, the production method of said composite yarn, and the textile structures obtained from this yarn; it presents a composite structure in which sheep wool fibers are used as the main natural carrier matrix and copper fibers are distributed in a controlled and homogeneous manner throughout the yarn structure. The invention covers the following: Composite yarn can be produced in homogeneous blended, core-sheath, wound, single-ply, double-ply, or multi-ply structures; it can be used in knitting, weaving, nonwoven, felt, and multi-layer textile structures; and it combines the natural thermal comfort, moisture management, and skin compatibility properties of sheep's wool with the functional properties of copper fibers in the same textile structure, resulting in socks, underwear, sleepwear, baby textiles, and supportive body products. It enables the production of various skin-contact textile products, primarily textiles.
