Abstract
This invention relates to a smart water consumption mirror system that provides flow energy harvesting and multimodal feedback, usable in fields such as smart home systems, building automation systems, wet area water consumption monitoring systems, sustainable architectural applications, green building technologies, water management systems, energy harvesting applications, embedded systems, edge artificial intelligence applications, human-computer interaction systems, and smart glass technologies. The invention consists of a digital data interface (6) that displays the amount of consumption, the savings rate and the visual representation data corresponding to the consumption data; a translucent smart mirror (1) that forms a reflective surface in the wet area and transmits light from the digital data interface (6) located behind it; a micro-hydro turbine and flow sensor (5) that generates electrical energy from the water flow passing through the water line and detects the flow data related to the water flow; an Edge-AI control unit (2) that manages the electrical energy obtained from the micro-hydro turbine and flow sensor (5), processes the flow data locally, determines the amount of consumption and / or the savings rate and selects the feedback mode depending on the harvested energy level and the consumption data; an electrochromic layer (3) that creates a color change on the mirror surface depending on the warning command from the Edge-AI control unit (2); and haptic and acoustic warning systems (4) that give the user a vibration and / or audible warning. Within the scope of the invention, the Edge-AI control unit (2) locally selectively operates at least one of the following based on the flow data and harvested energy level obtained from the micro-hydro turbine and flow sensor (5): digital data interface (6), electrochromic layer (3) and haptic and acoustic warning systems (4). Thus, the system offers an intelligent water consumption mirror system that reduces dependence on an external energy source, processes water consumption data locally and provides the user with visual, electrochromic, haptic and / or acoustic feedback according to the consumption status.
