Abstract

The invention is an Oxidation-Limited Borophene Hybrid Nanolayer Dispersion and Production Method, relating to the conversion of oxidation-sensitive borophene nanolayers in the presence of air and moisture into a solvent-stable hybrid dispersion suitable for transfer to battery electrode slurry. The dispersion consists of a borophene nanolayer phase, a conductive carbon phase containing graphene, reduced graphene oxide and / or carbon nanotubes, a two-dimensional barrier phase containing h-BN, an anhydrous and / or degassed organic solvent, and an optional partial passivation / stabilization agent. According to the invention, the components are mixed under an inert atmosphere, low-energy homogenization is applied, agglomerates are removed, and the product is stored in inert packaging. This limits BO formation on the borophene surface, increases the redispersibility of the dispersion, and makes the product suitable for transfer as an additive to battery electrode slurry.
