Abstract

This invention relates to an environmentally friendly enzymatic digestion and purification process developed to achieve micron-fineness and strength suitable for processing in the textile industry from the stem fibers of the Urtica dioica (nettle) plant. The invention encompasses production methods and technical steps that enable the separation of nettle stem fibers from the plant stem using biological enzyme combinations without the use of chemicals, preserving the hollow morphological structure of the fibers while improving their thermal insulation performance, and blending these fibers with organic cotton and / or merino wool in specific proportions to create high-performance technical textile yarns and winter outerwear fabrics (hybrid blends).
