Abstract

The invention relates to an air curtain unit (10) which directs the air it produces in an air generator (20) through the door opening (50) to reduce heat transfer between the interior and exterior environments when the passenger doors are opened, especially in public transport vehicles. Its novelty lies in the inclusion of a guiding element (30) with an inlet opening (47) associated with the air generator (20) and an outlet opening (49) adjacent to the upper edge of the door opening (50) and a housing (40) that forms a flow path (48) between the inlet opening (47) and the outlet opening (49).
