Abstract

The invention relates to a multi-elevator steel cable tensioning device that mechanically balances the load differences and cable elongations experienced by multiple steel cables used in elevator systems during their operation, without the need for an external energy source. The device includes a load balancing mechanism that receives the forces transmitted from the cables, a linear guide structure, a main compensation spring, and a differential mechanical force transmission mechanism. The differential force transmission mechanism mechanically redistributes the load differences between the cables, balancing the stresses on each cable and automatically compensating for elastic elongations occurring during service life.Furthermore, the preload adjustment mechanism, mechanical indicator system, motion limiters, vibration damping elements, and safety components included in the system increase its operational stability, facilitate maintenance procedures, and protect the safe operating limits of the mechanical components. Thanks to its modular structure, the invention can be adapted to elevator systems with different rope numbers and carrying capacities, ensuring a more homogeneous loading of the ropes by continuously balancing the load distribution, reducing wear, extending service life, and increasing the reliability of the elevator system.
