Quantum Authentication System

Abstract

This invention relates to a system (1) that enables the implementation of authentication and key agreement protocols that are resistant to quantum computing threats in 5G and beyond-5G mobile networks, and which has post-quantum cryptography capabilities. System (1) provides long-term security against future quantum computing attacks by integrating lattice-based, hash-based and code-based cryptographic algorithms such as CRYSTALS-Kyber, CRYSTALS-Dilithium, SPHINCS+, Classic McEliece, standardized by NIST, into the 3GPP 5G authentication framework.
