Abstract

The invention is a nanocomposite polymer electrolyte membrane for use in fuel cell systems. The polymer electrolyte membrane comprises a polymer matrix consisting of polylactic acid (PLA) (1) and polybutylene succinate (PBS) (2), multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) (3) homogeneously distributed within the aforementioned polymer matrix, and doping acid (4) integrated into the aforementioned polymer matrix.
