Abstract

This invention relates to a folding control device that mechanically detects contact with a base obstacle in the door opening area and displays the obstacle contact visibly until it is reset. The device comprises a mounting clamp that is detachably attached to the door leaf, a main carrier body attached to the mounting clamp, a folding control lever that rotates between the storage and control positions on the main carrier body, a position locking mechanism that secures the folding control lever in two positions, a length adjustment lever that adjusts according to the door width, a fixed contact guide located at the free end of the length adjustment lever, a movable contact sleeve that retracts against the contact spring within the fixed contact guide, a contact roller located at the free end of the movable contact sleeve, a trigger rod that transmits the retraction movement of the movable contact sleeve, a mechanical indicator slide with a colored display surface, an indicator lock, and a reset slide.When the foldable control lever is in the control position, the contact roller enters the door opening area before the free edge of the door leaf. When the contact roller touches the base obstacle, the movable contact sleeve retracts against the contact spring and moves the trigger rod. The trigger rod releases the indicator lock, and the indicator spring brings the mechanical indicator slide to the visible position. When the movable contact sleeve returns to its starting position by separating from the obstacle, the indicator slide maintains its visible position. The indicator slide returns to its starting position with the movement of the reset slide. At the end of use, the foldable control lever locks in a storage position parallel to the door leaf surface.
