Abstract

The invention relates to a mounting apparatus (10) for side marker lamps fitted into lamp mounting openings (51) on panels (50) on the outer edges of large vehicles such as trucks, buses, lorries and trailers. Its novelty is that it includes a housing (20) resting on the outer surface of the panel (50), a holding part (40) extending outwards from one side of the housing (20), a reference projection (30) extending outwards from the other side of the housing (20) and entering the lamp mounting opening (51) on the panel (50), a projection side wall (31) defined on the side face of the reference projection (30) and resting on the wall of the lamp mounting opening (51), and at least one marking opening (21) provided on the housing (20) in accordance with the mounting holes of the side marker lamp.
