Abstract
The invention relates to a photoluminescent marking system (100) with a changeable light source that can be used on road, ground or building surfaces, and is compatible with the road geometry. The system comprises a main carrier structure (1), a permanent outer service sheath (4), a removable inner service sheath (5) carrying the ultraviolet light source (6), a light-transmitting optical filler structure (7), a photoluminescent active layer (8) and a light-transmitting protective top layer (9). The main carrier structure (1) and the permanent outer service sleeve (4) are deformable to adapt to straight, curved, or directional application routes. During this adaptation, the internal transition continuity of the permanent outer service sleeve (4) is maintained, allowing for the longitudinal movement of the removable inner service sleeve (5) and the ultraviolet light source (6) it carries. In case of failure or completion of the service life of the ultraviolet light source (6), the main carrier structure (1), the permanent outer service sleeve (4), the translucent optical filler structure (7), the photoluminescent active layer (8), and the translucent protective top layer (9) can be left in place, while the removable inner service sleeve (5) can be removed from the system together with the ultraviolet light source (6), and a new one can be placed in the same service transition.This allows the light source to be changed in the photoluminescent marking system without removing the road or application surface, and ensures the system's serviceability by adapting to different route geometries.
