Abstract
The invention relates to a portable test battery assessment system and kit for evaluating health literacy in five- to six-year-old children across multiple subtests. The invention provides a solution to the technical problem of presenting visual cards for different subtests and physical assessment materials of varying sizes and uses in a specific order, safely, and reproducibly, by matching them with the correct subtest. The system comprises a main body that functions for transport and storage when closed and forms an assessment platform when open; a cover panel that forms a visual presentation panel in the open position; visual cards; side test card modules; physical assessment materials; material storage cells; a material transfer mechanism; and an electronic control unit.Upon detecting that the active sub-test card module has been deactivated, the electronic control unit identifies the next sub-test ID and coordinates the two physical presentation lines associated with the same sub-test ID. In the first presentation line, the next sub-test card module is brought to the access position, while in the second presentation line, for sub-tests requiring physical material, the paired physical assessment material is transferred from a separate storage cell located beneath the application table to the presentation position on the application table. The material handling / lifting platform is positioned flush with the top surface of the application table at the presentation position, and the visual presentation panel maintains its position throughout the sub-test transitions.Physical assessment materials include: a dental model set consisting of a movable mouth and teeth model and a child's toothbrush; a dental hygiene set consisting of a toothbrush, dental floss, toothpaste, interdental brush, and toothpick; a human anatomy body model with detachable parts; a traffic set consisting of a road layout with a pedestrian crossing, a toy car, and a pedestrian figure; a first aid kit set consisting of a stethoscope, blood pressure monitor, gauze, thermometer, tongue depressor, and bandages; and an ear model set consisting of an ear model and cotton swabs. The physical assessment materials, once in the presentation position, are not permanently fixed to the system and can be removed from the presentation position and held, displayed, rotated, and manipulated in a manner suitable for the relevant test application. The system ensures that physical materials paired with visual cards are presented in the correct order and in a coordinated manner under the subtest ID in coded sequential subtest applications between M01-GBOT and M10-ÖBOT; it can be used in preschool education, child health, and research applications.
