Abstract

Our invention relates to seismic isolators, which can be used in reinforced concrete, steel structure, and prefabricated buildings, as well as bridges, viaducts, power plants, hospitals, schools, and strategically important structures. They enhance structural safety by reducing the transmission of horizontal and circular forces acting on structures during earthquakes. Placed between the foundation and the superstructure, or directly under the load-bearing elements, they control the energy transmitted to the structure by seismic motion using the pendulum principle, damping vibrations and reducing the risk of the structure entering resonance. The invention in question is a "Seismic Isolator", consisting of: Seismic isolator (1), Lower body (2), Upper body (3), Upper body concave surface (3a), Center set (4), Outer ring carrier surface (5), Surface coatings (6), Buffer elements (7), Anchor elements (8), Ball (9), Center ball housing (10) and Elastomer seal (10a).
