Abstract

The invention relates to a system and method for integrated monitoring of rotor behavior in rotating equipment using only transition events obtained from a single transition detection sensor. Within the scope of the invention, high-resolution timestamps are generated from the detected transition events, the rotor geometry is automatically learned from these timestamps, and an adaptive virtual phase reference is produced without the need for a physical per-revolution reference sensor (OPR). From the generated virtual phase reference, the rotor phase, virtual OPR signals, and various virtual sensor outputs are obtained; time deviations, displacement values, and vibration parameters are calculated to create a digital rotor model representing the geometric, kinematic, and dynamic behavior of the rotor. The system also performs anomaly detection, fault classification, health index calculation, remaining useful life estimation, maintenance recommendation generation, and alarm generation via a digital rotor model, providing an integrated condition monitoring, health management, and predictive maintenance infrastructure based on a single sensor.
