Abstract
The invention relates to a method for protecting agricultural products against frost damage. The method involves heating the air using a solid, liquid, gas, LPG, or electrical energy source; storing the heat by transferring the heated air to pools containing sand and / or gravel; and transferring the heated air to heat-resistant, metal-based distribution channels positioned parallel to the ground in the agricultural area. The outlets of the distribution channels are left open to the atmosphere above ground level, creating a natural chimney effect. This natural chimney effect allows the heated air to circulate within the distribution channels, utilizing temperature differences and atmospheric conditions. The heated air, starting from ground level and extending towards plant and tree trunks, creates a thermal effect, thus protecting the soil, plants, and trees from the adverse effects of frost damage.Furthermore, in low-temperature conditions where wind is a factor, windbreaks can be created around gardens and areas requiring protection to maintain and improve the heating efficiency of the system.
