Abstract
An object of the invention is to provide a composite sintered body that can provide improved volume resistivity. A composite sintered body according to one embodiment of the invention contains aluminum nitride and spinel. The composite sintered body comprises a plurality of crystal grains containing aluminum nitride, and grain boundaries located between mutually adjacent grains among the plurality of crystal grains. The thickness of at least a portion of the grain boundaries is 0.6 nm or greater.
