Abstract

The invention provides a coin processing device (100), which comprises a handling unit (110) for receiving coins and sending them out one by one, and a sorting unit (120) for receiving coins one by one from the handling unit, determining the type of coin or medal while moving the coins along an arc, and guiding them to a path for each type. The handling unit comprises a guide member (114X) provided at the coin outlet for guiding the coins outward. The sorting unit comprises a first lever (151) located upstream of the guide member in the coin transport direction and biased in a direction to push the coins back outward from the sorting unit.
