Description

Slide rail assembly The present invention relates to a slide rail assembly, and more particularly to a tool-free detachable mounting accessory for preventing one slide rail of the slide rail assembly from moving relative to another slide rail in an opening direction. Generally speaking, a slide rail assembly can be installed on a cabinet to carry an item (such as an electronic device or a drawer), allowing the item to move relative to the cabinet via the slide rails (such as movable rails) of the slide rail assembly. However, sometimes, when the slide rail assembly is not carrying the item but is installed on the cabinet, if the cabinet needs to be transported, the slide rails of the slide rail assembly installed on the cabinet may be affected by unexpected external forces (such as vibration or shaking), causing the slide rails to be unexpectedly opened to the extended position. If the external force is too strong, this may damage the slide rails and related functional components. Although the existing technology can use a strap to tie the slide rail assembly to prevent the slide rail assembly from opening due to unexpected external forces (such as vibration or shaking), disassembly requires relying on tools to cut the strap, which is still inconvenient to use. In addition, the tightening method of the strap may be affected by the different tightening degrees of the user, thereby affecting the stability and reliability of the tightening of the slide rail assembly. Therefore, how to develop a method for preventing the slide rail of the slide rail assembly from being opened unexpectedly has become a topic worth exploring. The present invention relates to a slide rail assembly which is used to prevent a slide rail from moving in an opening direction relative to another slide rail through a tool-free detachable mounting accessory. The first rail is provided with a first bracket, through which the first rail is mounted to the rack; the second rail is longitudinally displaceable relative to the first rail; the mounting accessory comprises a connecting portion and a stopping portion; wherein one of the first rail and the first bracket has a predetermined feature; wherein, when the second rail is in a retracted position relative to the first rail and the connecting portion of the mounting accessory is detachably connected to the predetermined feature, the stopping portion of the mounting accessory blocks the second rail to prevent the second rail from moving from the retracted position to an open direction. According to another aspect of the present invention, a slide rail assembly includes a first rail, a second rail, a third rail, and a mounting accessory. The first rail is provided with a bracket; the second rail can be longitudinally displaced relative to the first rail; the third rail is movably mounted between the first rail and the second rail; the mounting accessory includes a connecting portion and a first buckle; wherein the first rail, the second rail, and the third rail all have a first wall, a second wall, and a longitudinal wall connected between the first wall and the second wall; the slide rail assembly further includes a sliding aid device, which includes a plurality of ball bearings supported between the first wall of the third rail and the first wall of the second rail, and supported between the second wall of the third rail and the second wall of the second rail; wherein the first rail One of the rail and the bracket has a predetermined feature; wherein, when the second rail is in a retracted position relative to the first rail, a first gap is formed between the first wall of the third rail and the first wall of the second rail between the rail sections not supported by the ball bearings, and a second gap is formed between the second wall of the third rail and the second wall of the second rail between the rail sections not supported by the ball bearings; the connecting portion of the mounting accessory is detachably connected to the predetermined feature, and the first buckle portion of the mounting accessory penetrates the first gap and engages with the first wall of the second rail to prevent the second rail from leaving the retracted position. According to another aspect of the present invention, a slide rail assembly includes a first rail, a second rail, and a mounting accessory. The first rail is provided with a bracket; the second rail is movable relative to the first rail; the mounting accessory includes a connecting portion and a stopping portion; wherein the bracket has a predetermined feature; wherein the first rail has a front end and a rear end positioned opposite each other, and the bracket has a side wall extending beyond the front end of the first rail by a predetermined longitudinal distance, and the predetermined feature is arranged on the side wall of the bracket; wherein, when the second rail is in a retracted position relative to the first rail, the connecting portion of the mounting accessory is detachably connected to the predetermined feature, and the stopping portion of the mounting accessory blocks the second rail to prevent the second rail from moving from the retracted position to an open direction. In general, the mounting accessory is detachably mounted on the slide rail assembly, thereby preventing the second rail from shifting toward the opening direction relative to the first rail. 20: Slide rail assembly 22: First Track 22a, 24a, 28a: first end 22b, 24b, 28b: Second end 24: Second Track 26: Install accessories 28: The Third Rail 30: First bracket 32: Second bracket 34a,38a: First side wall 34b, 38b: Second side wall 36,40: Side wall 42: First mounting piece 44: Second mounting piece 46: Predetermined Features 48:Connection 50:Block 52: First button 54: Second buckle 56: Extension arm 56a: First end 56b: Second end 58: Operation Department 60: Predetermined structure 62a: First Column 62b: Second column 64a, 68a, 72a: First Wall 64b, 68b, 72b: Second wall 66,70,74: vertical wall 76: Slip-assisting device 77: Ball retainer 78: Sliding mechanism 80: First arc surface 84: Second arc surface 86: Limit feature A: Predetermined angle B1: First ball B2: Second ball D1: Opening direction D2: Folding direction E: Extended position F: External force G1: First gap G2: Second gap K: Predetermined longitudinal distance L1: First side L2: Second side M1: first predetermined direction M2: Second predetermined direction R: folded position S: auxiliary space T: lateral distance FIG1 is a schematic diagram showing a slide rail assembly installed with a mounting accessory according to an embodiment of the present invention; FIG2 is an exploded view showing a mounting accessory and a slide rail assembly according to an embodiment of the present invention; FIG3 is a schematic diagram showing an installation accessory according to an embodiment of the present invention; FIG4 is a schematic diagram showing a slide rail assembly without the mounting accessory installed and with the first rail mounted to a rack according to an embodiment of the present invention; FIG5 is a schematic diagram showing a second rail of the slide rail assembly on the frame being displaced in an opening direction relative to the first rail due to an unexpected external force according to an embodiment of the present invention; FIG6 is an exploded view showing the slide rail assembly and the mounting accessories on the rack according to an embodiment of the present invention; FIG7 is an enlarged schematic diagram showing area A of FIG6 ; FIG8 is a schematic diagram showing the slide rail assembly on the rack with the mounting accessories installed thereon according to one embodiment of the present invention; FIG9 is an enlarged schematic diagram showing area A of FIG8 ; FIG10 is an enlarged schematic diagram showing area B of FIG8 ; and FIG. 11 is a cross-sectional view showing a slide rail assembly according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in Figures 1 and 2, a slide rail assembly 20 according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a first rail 22, a second rail 24, and a mounting assembly 26. Preferably, the assembly further includes a third rail 28 (e.g., a middle rail) movably mounted between the first rail 22 (e.g., an outer rail) and the second rail 24 (e.g., an inner rail). The second rail 24 and the third rail 28 are longitudinally movable relative to the first rail 22. Here, the X-axis is the longitudinal direction (or the length of the slide rail), the Y-axis is the transverse direction (or the lateral direction of the slide rail), and the Z-axis is the vertical direction (or the height of the slide rail). The first rail 22 has a first side and a second side positioned opposite each other, such as an outer side and an inner side. Preferably, the slide rail assembly 20 further includes a first bracket 30 and a second bracket 32, such as a front bracket and a rear bracket. The first bracket 30 is arranged on the first rail 22. More specifically, the first bracket 30 is fixed to a first side of the first rail 22, so that the first bracket 30 and the first rail 22 are integral. The second bracket 32 and the first bracket 30 are longitudinally displaceable relative to each other. Here, for example, the second bracket 32 and the first bracket 30 are telescopically connected to each other, thereby enabling the second bracket 32 and the first bracket 30 to be longitudinally displaceable relative to each other. The first bracket 30 includes a first side wall 34a, a second side wall 34b, and a side wall 36 connected between the first side wall 34a and the second side wall 34b of the first bracket 30. Similarly, the second bracket 32 includes a first side wall 38a, a second side wall 38b, and a side wall 40 connected between the first side wall 38a and the second side wall 38b of the second bracket 32. In addition, the end of the side wall 36 of the first bracket 30 has a first end plate arranged with at least one first mounting member 42, and the end of the side wall 40 of the second bracket 32 has a second end plate arranged with at least one second mounting member 44. One of the first rail 22 and the first bracket 30 has a predetermined feature 46. Here, the first bracket 30 has the predetermined feature 46, and the predetermined feature 46 is, for example, a hole defined by a hole wall, but the embodiment is not limited thereto. Preferably, the first rail 22 has a first end 22a and a second end 22b that are positioned opposite each other, such as a front end and a rear end. Meanwhile, the side wall 36 of the first bracket 30 extends beyond the first end 22a of the first rail 22 by a predetermined longitudinal distance K, and the predetermined feature 46 is disposed on the side wall 36 of the first bracket 30 that extends beyond the first end 22a of the first rail 22. The second rail 24 and the third rail 28 are located on the second side of the first rail 22. The second rail 24 is a carrying rail for carrying an item (such as an electronic device or a drawer, not shown). The second rail 24 has a first end 24a and a second end 24b that are positioned opposite each other, such as a front end and a rear end. The third rail 28 has a first end 28a and a second end 28b that are positioned opposite each other, such as a front end and a rear end. Furthermore, when the second rail 24 and the third rail 28 are in a retracted position R relative to the first rail 22, the first end 24a of the second rail 24 and the first end 28a of the third rail 28 are both located adjacent to the first end 22a of the first rail 22. The mounting accessory 26 is used to be connected to the predetermined feature 46 . Here, the mounting accessory 26 is detachably connected to the predetermined feature 46 as an example. Specifically, the user can decide whether to install the mounting accessory 26 to the predetermined feature 46 according to needs. As shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 3 , the mounting accessory 26 includes a connecting portion 48 and a stop portion 50 . Preferably, the mounting member 26 further includes a first buckle portion 52 and a second buckle portion 54. The first buckle portion 52 and the second buckle portion 54 have substantially the same and symmetrical structural configuration; more specifically, the first buckle portion 52 and the second buckle portion 54 are spaced apart and positioned correspondingly. Preferably, the mounting assembly 26 further includes an extension arm 56 having a first end 56a and a second end 56b positioned opposite each other, such as a front end and a rear end, but the embodiment is not limited thereto. The connecting portion 48 is located adjacent to the first end 56a of the extension arm 56, while the first buckle portion 52 and the second buckle portion 54 are located adjacent to the second end 56b of the extension arm 56. Preferably, the mounting member 26 further includes an operating portion 58. Specifically, the mounting member 26 has a first side L1 and a second side L2 that are positioned opposite each other, such as an outer side and an inner side. The operating portion 58 is located adjacent to the second end 56b of the extension arm 56, while the connecting portion 48, the first buckle portion 52, and the second buckle portion 54 are located only on the second side L2 of the mounting member 26. Preferably, the operating portion 58 is connected to the extension arm 56 and is located adjacent to the second end 56b of the extension arm 56. The operating portion 58 is tilted at a predetermined angle A relative to the second end 56b of the extension arm 56 toward a surface away from the first side L1 of the mounting fitting 26. Furthermore, the operating portion 58 extends beyond the second end 56b of the extension arm 56 and defines an auxiliary space S. The auxiliary space S allows a user's finger to extend into the auxiliary space from the second side L2 of the mounting fitting 26, thereby facilitating the user's application of operating force to the second side L2 of the operating portion 58. Preferably, the connecting portion 48 is a protrusion, and the connecting portion 48 is used to connect (eg, plug into) the predetermined feature 46 . Preferably, a predetermined structure 60 is disposed on the second side L2 of the mounting fitting 26. The predetermined structure 60 protrudes a transverse distance T relative to the surface of the second side L2 of the mounting fitting 26 to form the stop portion 50. For example, the stop portion 50 is a vertical wall and is located adjacent to the first end 56a of the extension arm 56. In addition, the connecting portion 48 is located on the predetermined structure 60. For example, the connecting portion 48 protrudes relative to the predetermined structure 60. Preferably, the first buckle portion 52 and the second buckle portion 54 protrude from the surface of the second side L2 of the mounting component 26 . As shown in Figures 4 and 5 , the slide rail assembly 20 can be installed on a rack (or cabinet) comprising a first column 62a and a second column 62b, such as a front column and a rear column, but not limited to this embodiment. The first rail 22 is mounted to the first column 62a and the second column 62b via the first mounting member 42 of the first bracket 30 and the second mounting member 44 of the second bracket 32, respectively. Here, the first mounting member 42 is inserted into the column hole of the first column 62a, and the second mounting member 44 is inserted into the column hole of the second column 62b, thereby mounting the slide rail assembly 20 on the rack. Furthermore, without the mounting fittings 26 , when the second rail 24 and the third rail 28 are in the retracted position R relative to the first rail 22 (as shown in FIG4 ), if the first rail 22 and / or the first column 62 a and the second column 62 b of the rack (or cabinet) are subjected to an unexpected external force F (e.g., forward or backward vibration or shaking), the second rail 24 and the third rail 28 may unexpectedly or unexpectedly move from the retracted position R in an opening direction D1 relative to the first rail 22 to an extended position E. If the external force F is too great, this may generate an impact force causing the slide rail to rush out and hit the door panel of the cabinet (not shown), thereby risking damage to the slide rail and its related functional components (as shown in FIG5 ). When the second rail 24 and the third rail 28 are at the extended position E, the first end 24 a of the second rail 24 and the first end 28 a of the third rail 28 extend beyond the first end 22 a of the first rail 22 in the opening direction D1 . As shown in FIG6 and FIG7, when the second rail 24 and the third rail 28 are in the retracted position R relative to the first rail 22, the user can detachably connect the mounting accessory 26 to the predetermined feature 46 to prevent the second rail 24 and the third rail 28 from moving from the retracted position R toward the opening direction D1. Preferably, the first rail 22 has a first wall 64a, a second wall 64b, and a longitudinal wall 66 connected between the first wall 64a and the second wall 64b of the first rail 22; the second rail 24 has a first wall 68a, a second wall 68b, and a longitudinal wall 70 connected between the first wall 68a and the second wall 68b of the second rail 24; the third rail 28 has a first wall 72a, a second wall 72b, and a longitudinal wall 74 connected between the first wall 72a and the second wall 72b of the third rail 28 (please refer to Figure 11 for this part). Preferably, the slide rail assembly 20 further includes a sliding aid device 76, which includes a ball retainer 77 and a plurality of first balls B1 rollingly disposed on the ball retainer 77, and is used to support between the first wall 72a of the third rail 28 and the first wall 68a of the second rail 24, and between the second wall 72b of the third rail 28 and the second wall 68b of the second rail 24 (this part can be combined with reference to Figure 11). Preferably, the slide rail assembly further includes at least one sliding aid mechanism 78, which includes a plurality of second balls B2 rollingly supported between the first wall 72a of the third rail 28 and the first wall 64a of the first rail 22, and supported between the second wall 72b of the third rail 28 and the second wall 64b of the first rail 22 (this part can be combined with Figure 11). Preferably, when the second rail 24 is in the retracted position R relative to the first rail 22, the sliding aid 76 is in a predetermined position P, and a first gap G1 is formed between the first wall 72a of the third rail 28 and the first wall 68a of the second rail 24 between the rail sections not supported by the first balls B1, and a second gap G2 is formed between the second wall 72b of the third rail 28 and the second wall 68b of the second rail 24 between the rail sections not supported by the first balls B1. As shown in Figures 8 to 11 , when the second rail 24 and the third rail 28 are in the retracted position R relative to the first rail 22, and the connecting portion 48 of the mounting accessory 26 is connected to the predetermined feature 46, the blocking portion 50 of the mounting accessory 26 can block the second rail 24 and the third rail 28 (as shown in Figure 9 ), thereby preventing the second rail 24 and the third rail 28 from moving from the retracted position R toward the opening direction D1 (as shown in Figure 9 ). The connecting portion 48 of the mounting accessory 26 is detachably connected (e.g., plugged into) the predetermined feature 46. Preferably, the stopper 50 of the mounting accessory 26 blocks the first end 24a of the second rail 24 and the first end 28a of the third rail 28 (as shown in FIG. 9 , this portion can cooperate with the first end 24a of the second rail 24 and the first end 28a of the third rail 28 illustrated in FIG. 6 ). Accordingly, the second rail 24 and the third rail 28 are prevented from shifting from the retracted position R toward the opening direction D1, thereby avoiding the aforementioned problem of the second rail 24 and the third rail 28 being displaced from the retracted position R toward the opening direction D1 relative to the first rail 22 due to the influence of an unexpected external force F. Preferably, the first buckle 52 and the second buckle 54 of the mounting accessory 26 are used to penetrate the first gap G1 and the second gap G2 respectively in a first predetermined direction M1, and the first buckle 52 and the second buckle 54 are respectively locked (for example, clamped) to the first wall 68a and the second wall 68b of the second rail 24 (as shown in Figures 10 and 11), so that the second rail 24 cannot move freely, thereby preventing the second rail 24 from leaving the retracted position R, for example, preventing the second rail 24 from moving from the retracted position R to the opening direction D1 (as shown in Figure 8). Preferably, the first buckle portion 52 has a first curved surface 80 that matches a first groove in the first wall 68a of the second rail 24, and the second buckle portion 54 has a second curved surface 84 that matches a second groove in the second wall 68b of the second rail 24. This facilitates the first buckle portion 52 and the second buckle portion 54 to engage (e.g., engage, grab, or clamp) the second rail 24, preventing the second rail 24 from freely moving. The apex of the second curved surface 84 faces the apex of the first curved surface 80 (as shown in FIG. 11 ). Preferably, the longitudinal wall 66 of the first rail 22 is further provided with at least one limiting feature 86 (e.g., a protrusion), and the limiting feature 86 is adjacent to the second end 22b of the first rail 22; when the third rail 28 is folded relative to the first rail 22, the second end 28b of the third rail 28 can be blocked by the limiting feature 86 to prevent the third rail 28 from moving in a folding direction D2 (as shown in FIG. 8). It is worth mentioning that a user can apply an operating force to the operating portion 58 of the mounting accessory 26 to remove the mounting accessory 26 from the predetermined feature 46. For example, when an operating force is applied to the operating portion 58 in a second predetermined direction M2 opposite to the first predetermined direction M1 (as shown in FIG. 10 ), the first buckle 52 and the second buckle 54 can be respectively released from the first wall 68 a and the second wall 68 b of the second rail 24, and the connecting portion 48 of the mounting accessory 26 can be disconnected from the predetermined feature 46. Accordingly, the mounting accessory 26 can be removed from the predetermined feature 46 (as shown in FIG. 6 ), allowing the second rail 24 and the third rail 28 to move from the retracted position R to the open direction D1. In addition, the second rail 24 and the third rail 28 are typically preset to be able to synchronously move relative to the first rail 22 in the opening direction D1 through a synchronization mechanism (not shown) (since this part is a technical scope that can be understood by those with ordinary knowledge in this field, it will not be further described here). Therefore, in an alternative embodiment, the first buckle 52 and the second buckle 54 of the mounting accessory 26 can be respectively locked to the first wall 72a and the second wall 72b of the third rail 28, thereby preventing the second rail 24 and the third rail 28 from moving from the retracted position R to the opening direction D1. It can be seen that the slide rail assembly 20 provided in the embodiment of the present invention includes the following features: 1. If desired, the user may install the mounting fixture 26 on the predetermined feature 46. The mounting fixture 26 thereby prevents the second rail 24 from moving relative to the first rail 22 from the retracted position R toward the opening direction D1. The retaining portion 50 of the mounting fixture 26 blocks the second rail 24 and the third rail 28 to prevent them from moving from the retracted position R toward the opening direction D1. Alternatively, the first and second retaining portions 52, 54 of the mounting fixture 26 are configured to penetrate the first and second gaps G1, G2, respectively, and latch onto the first and second walls 68a, 68b, 68b of the second rail 24, preventing the second rail 24 from freely moving. 2. The side wall 36 of the first bracket 30 extends beyond the first end 22 a of the first rail 22 by the predetermined longitudinal distance K, and the predetermined feature 46 is arranged on the side wall 36 of the first bracket 30 . Although the present invention has been disclosed with the aforementioned preferred embodiments, they are not intended to limit the present invention. Therefore, the scope of protection of the present invention shall be subject to the scope of the appended patent applications. 20: Slide rail assembly 22: First Track 24: Second Track 26: Install accessories 28: The Third Rail 30: First bracket 32: Second bracket 34a,38a: First side wall 34b, 38b: Second side wall 36,40: Side wall 42: First mounting piece 44: Second mounting piece 50:Block 58: Operation Department
