Abstract

This disclosure relates to the field of chemical medicine, disclosing an application of compounds related to (-)-epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), specifically concerning the use of an EGCG compound in an inhaled medication for the prevention and / or treatment of pulmonary fibrosis. It also includes a composition of an inhalable medicament for the prevention and / or treatment of pulmonary fibrosis, as well as a method for preventing and / or treating pulmonary fibrosis. In the disclosed application, EGCG compounds are EGCG itself or its pharmaceutically acceptable salts, esters, hydrates, or solvates.
