Clascoterone formulations and methods of use thereof

Abstract

The present disclosure is related to a topical formulation comprising clascoterone in a mixture of aqueous and oily gel phases. The present disclosure further relates to a method of treating or preventing skin conditions such acne vulgaris, acne conglobata, acne fulminans, androgenetic alopecia, hidradenitis suppurativa (also known as acne inversa), hirsutism, cancer-therapy-induced rash, eczema, rosacea, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, inverse psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis, acanthosis nigricans, wound , and female pattern hair loss, comprising topically administering to a subject in need thereof an effective amount of the formulation.
