Cutting tool for capsules made of plastics

Abstract

A cutting tool is disclosed comprising a support coupled removably with a knife provided with a cutting edge configured to cut a capsule to create a safety ring, in which the knife has a contour that at least partially matches a contour of a recess obtained in the support, in which in the matching zone positioning means is arranged to promote reciprocal positioning between the support and the knife, and in which the worn knife is replaced by a new knife, the knife being made of a material that is harder than the material of which the support is made, thus obtaining a more efficient use of the cutting tool with a resulting overall financial saving.
