Abstract

This invention relates to an auxiliary device for opening a motorcycle seat cushion. The motorcycle includes at least a frame unit, a seat cushion located above the frame unit, and a storage compartment located below the seat cushion. The seat cushion opening auxiliary device is provided at the rear bottom end of the seat cushion. The seat cushion opening auxiliary device has a base, a connecting member connected to the base, and an elastic member located between the base and the connecting member. This enhances the cushioning effect when the seat cushion is closed and the driver is seated, allowing the base and the connecting member to press down on the seat cushion. In addition to cushioning the pressure on the seat cushion, the elastic member also improves the convenience of opening the seat cushion.

Claims

1. An auxiliary device for opening a locomotive seat cushion, the locomotive including at least a frame unit, a seat cushion disposed above the frame unit, and a storage box disposed below the seat cushion; the seat cushion opening auxiliary device is provided at the rear bottom end of the seat cushion, the seat cushion opening auxiliary device having a base, a connector connected to the base, and an elastic member disposed between the base and the connector; the bottom of the base has a top abutment portion, the base having an upwardly protruding receiving portion, and a plurality of spaced ribs protruding radially outward from the outer periphery of the upper end of the receiving portion; the elastic member is housed within the receiving portion of the base; the connector is fitted over the receiving portion, the connector having a hollow connecting portion with an opening facing downward, and a plurality of through holes around the connecting portion, the through holes corresponding to the ribs of the base; the connecting portion can cover the receiving portion of the base, thereby sealing the elastic member.
