Abstract

This invention provides a heat exchange component and its manufacturing method. A carbon material formed from any one of carbon nanotubes, carbon nanofibers, graphene, or a mixture thereof is added to a solvent and subjected to a first ultrasonic irradiation treatment to generate a dispersion of the carbon material. A metal oxide is added to the dispersion, and a second ultrasonic irradiation treatment is performed to reduce the metal, thereby generating metal nanoparticles in the dispersion and loading the metal nanoparticles onto the carbon material. The dispersion of the carbon material loaded with metal nanoparticles is used as an electrolyte, and the substrate of the heat exchange component is used as the cathode, while the metal is used as the anode for electroplating. A porous layer is formed on the surface of the substrate of the heat exchange component, and the porous layer contains a void-forming material formed from the carbon material loaded with metal nanoparticles and a metal.
