Cycloolefin resin compositions, resin materials, their preparation methods and their applications

Abstract

This invention discloses a cyclic olefin resin composition, resin material, its preparation method, and its application. Specifically, this invention discloses the application of a cyclic olefin resin composition M1 in the preparation of a matrix material for high-frequency, high-speed information transmission devices. The cyclic olefin resin composition M1 comprises component A and component B, wherein component A is a cyclic olefin, and component B is a carbene ruthenium compound or its salt as shown in Formula I and / or Formula II. The molar ratio of Ru in component B to the monomer of the cyclic olefin in component A is 1:(7500 to 60000). The resin material prepared using the cyclic olefin resin composition of this invention exhibits low dielectric loss and low dielectric constant under high-frequency conditions, and good heat resistance.
