Abstract

The present invention aims to provide a solid material that can be formed into a molded body with excellent ozone resistance, which is not easily cracked or bubbled by ozone; and to provide: the molded body and a method for manufacturing the solid material. The solid material of the present invention is in the form of powder or pellets and contains a copolymer, wherein the copolymer contains a unit A mainly composed of tetrafluoroethylene and a unit B mainly composed of a monomer shown in formula (1) (CF2=CF-O-Rf); the total number of functional groups of -CF=CF2, -CF2H, -COF, -COOH, -COOCH3, -CONH2 and -CH2OH per 106 main chain carbons of the above copolymer is less than 150; the amount of gas generated when the above solid material is heated at 300°C for 120 minutes, after being converted to n-hexane, is less than 100 ppb by mass relative to the total mass of the above solid material.
