Dispersion

Abstract

This invention provides a dispersion that achieves excellent processing stability of organically modified polysiloxane, good water absorption resistance (anti-wicking) of fiber products, and good color; as well as a fiber product treated with the dispersion and a method for manufacturing the fiber product. In one embodiment, a dispersion is provided containing organically modified polysiloxane (α) with a specific structure; and the amount of the cyclic siloxane (γ) with the specific structure in the aforementioned dispersion is less than 1000 ppm by mass. In another embodiment, the dispersion further contains a hydrophobic polymer (β) with a specific structure.
