Abstract

A clamping device for hanging is configured to connect with a planar unit. The clamping device comprises a connecting unit and two clamp units. The connecting unit has a first connecting portion and a second connecting portion, and the planar unit is connected to the first connecting portion. The two clamping units are connected to the second connecting portion. The two clamping units are arranged side by side, and the two clamping units are capable of moving toward or away from each other. Each one of the two clamping units has a connecting end and a clamping end. The connecting end is connected to the second connecting portion, and the clamping end extends to a direction away from the connecting unit. The clamping device is connected to a frame structure by means of clamping with the clamping units, and thus even if the frame structure is not rod-shaped, the clamping device is still capable of connecting with the frame structure.

Technical Field

[0001] This work is about a suspension tool, and more particularly about a clamp for setting up or suspending flat parts. Prior Technology

[0002] Familiar structures such as tents, nets, canopies, or curtains are formed by suspending or clamping flat pieces such as canvas or netting onto a frame. Specifically, suspension devices are connected to the edges of the flat pieces, which are then stretched or suspended from the frame. Conventional suspension devices consist of a connector and a rope that are fixed to each other. The connector is attached to the edge of the flat piece, while the rope is wrapped around and secured to the frame.

A suspension clamp for connecting to a flat member; the suspension clamp comprising: a connector including a first connecting portion and a second connecting portion, the flat member being connected to the first connecting portion; two clamps disposed on the second connecting portion of the connector, the two clamps being arranged side-by-side and capable of approaching or moving away from each other, and being independent of each other; each clamp having: a connecting end connected to the second connecting portion; and a clamping end extending away from the connector; and an adjuster connected to the two clamps, the adjuster being capable of adjusting the distance between the two clamps; the adjuster comprising: a screw penetrating through the two clamps; a handle connected to one end of the screw; and a nut screwed onto the screw, the two clamps being located between the handle and the nut; wherein... Each clamp has an arched portion located between the connecting end and the clamping end, and the arched portion of each clamp arches toward the other clamp, with the screw passing through the arched portion of the two clamps.
