Abstract

The optical sheet has a first surface and a second surface facing the first surface. The optical sheet includes a light-diffusing layer comprising particles having a long side direction and an adhesive component. The standard deviation of the alignment angle of the particles is 16° to 30°. The alignment angle is the angle between the long side direction of the particles and the alignment direction when viewed from a first direction perpendicular to the optical sheet. The alignment direction is a direction inclined relative to a reference direction at an angle that is the midpoint of the interval with the highest frequency in a histogram of the angle between the reference direction when viewed from the first direction and the long side direction of each particle.
