Abstract

A projection screen includes an optical structure layer, a reflective layer, and a light-shielding layer. The optical structure layer is composed of an imaging portion and a scattering portion integrally connected. The reflective layer is disposed on the side of the scattering portion opposite to the imaging portion. The light-shielding layer is disposed on the side of the reflective layer opposite to the scattering portion. A method for manufacturing a projection screen includes: (1) fabricating an integrally connected imaging portion and a scattering portion using a molding process to form an optical structure layer; and (2) forming a reflective layer and a light-shielding layer, wherein the reflective layer is disposed on the side of the scattering portion opposite to the imaging portion, and the light-shielding layer is disposed on the side of the reflective layer. The present invention extends the lifespan of the projection screen by making the imaging portion and the scattering portion of the projection screen integrally connected, preventing them from separating from each other.
