Abstract

The present invention provides a configuration for processing input of driving force received by a cartridge from the outside. The main body of the electronic photographic image forming apparatus is a drive output member having an output gear section and an output coupling section. The processing cartridge that can be attached to and detached from the main body of the electronic photographic image forming apparatus has: a photosensitive element, an input coupling section located at the end of the photosensitive element that can be coupled to the aforementioned output coupling section, and an input gear section that can engage with the output gear section.
