Molten steel quality management system and method

Abstract

A molten steel quality management system is suitable for continuous casting processes. The molten steel quality management system includes a molten steel distributor, a casting mold, and a computing device. The molten steel distributor is configured to receive molten steel injected from a ladle. The casting mold is configured to receive molten steel poured from the molten steel distributor and cast at least one steel blank. The computing device is coupled to the molten steel distributor and the casting mold, and is configured to calculate a control range utilizing a downgraded control algorithm, and divide the molten steel contained in the molten steel distributor into molten steel of a normal zone and molten steel of a downgraded zone based on the control range, in which the computing device is further configured to utilize a steel blank cutting algorithm to calculate a cutting range, and set the cutting range to cut the at least one steel blank cast by the casting mold.
