Method for managing inventory and apparatus thereof

Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a method for managing inventory and an apparatus thereof. More particularly, the present disclosure relates to a method for managing warehousing to and shipping from a logistics center in order to maintain a certain quantity of inventory in the logistics center, and an apparatus thereof. The method for managing inventory may include: obtaining a total warehousing scheduled quantity of a first product for a logistics center, obtaining a storage quantity of the first product allocated to each of a plurality of space modules constituting the logistics center, and determining a first warehousing scheduled quantity of the first product for a first space module of the plurality of space modules and determining a second warehousing scheduled quantity of the first product for a second space module of the remaining space modules excluding the first space module. Here, the first space module may be a space module in which a storage quantity of the first product is the smallest among the plurality of space modules, and the second space module may be a space module in which a storage quantity of the first product is the smallest among the remaining space modules.
