Timbre evaluation method and timbre evaluation system

Abstract

A timbre evaluation method is provided. Firstly, a plurality of training audio signals corresponding to a plurality of training devices is received. Then a plurality of training subjective scores corresponding to the plurality of training audio signals is received. Afterward, the training audio signal is divided into a plurality of frequency sections and energy corresponding to each of the frequency sections is calculated to generate a training objective score corresponding to the training audio signal. Thereafter, an evaluation adjustment function is generated based on the training subject scores and the corresponding training objective scores to demonstrate variations therebetween. Then, in the evaluation stage, an evaluated objective score for an evaluated device is received, and an evaluation score is generated based on the evaluated objective score and the evaluation adjusting function. A timbre evaluation system is also provided.
