Abstract

This invention provides an iron-based magnetic powder. Compared with prior art iron-based magnetic powders containing the same amount of Ni and Si, the aforementioned iron-based magnetic powder can improve the miniaturization adaptability of magnetic materials, the adaptability to high-frequency current applications, and at least one of magnetic properties, while maintaining or improving other properties. The iron-based magnetic powder of this invention comprises an iron-based magnetic alloy composed of elements Fe, L, and M. L is at least one element selected from Ni and Si, and M is at least one element selected from metallic elements having a greater ionization tendency than Fe. The total content of Fe, L, and M is 97.0% by weight or more and 100.0% by weight or less, the content of L is 0.0% by weight or more and 80.0% by weight or less, and the content of M is 0.3% by weight or more and 10.0% by weight or less. The resistivity of the aforementioned iron-based magnetic powder is 80 μΩ·cm or more.
