Abstract

An electronic device and a battery management method thereof are provided. The method includes following steps: accumulating a storage time count value continuously in a case that an auto shipping mode function is turned on and a battery module is in a sleep mode; and deciding whether to put the battery module into shutdown mode according to a current battery voltage of the battery module in a case that the storage time count value is accumulated to be greater than a time threshold.
