The motor includes a rotor (3), a stator (4), a housing (5) that houses the rotor (3) and the stator (4) and has an opening, and a cover (6) that blocks at least a portion of the opening. The cover (6) has a cover body (61), a sensor (62) facing the rotor (3), a fixing member (63) for fixing the sensor (62), and a connecting member (64) for connecting the fixing member (63) to the cover body (61). The cover body (61) has a hole (66), and the connecting member (64) passes through the hole (66).
