This application provides a communication method and device, where wherein multiple pilot subcarriers are discretely distributed among N distributed resource units. By discretely distributing the multiple pilot subcarriers instead of concentrating them within a certain frequency band, it is intended to avoid situations where pilot subcarriers of the distributed resource units become unusable due to interference affecting the device in that frequency band.
