An Intelligent Assistant System and Method for Supporting Social Media Conversations

Abstract

This invention provides an intelligent assistant system and method for assisting dialogue in social media applications. The system receives text messages from social media platforms through a dialogue recording module. Using natural language processing technology, a content processing module segments the message content into multiple semantic units and converts them into new knowledge graphs. The system has a knowledge graph database to store pre-loaded and newly added knowledge graphs. A knowledge retrieval module queries the pre-loaded knowledge graph based on semantic units to obtain relevant knowledge graphs, and a reference module generates related reference information based on the relevant knowledge graphs. This invention can assist users in obtaining relevant reference information in social media dialogues. This reference information can include at least one of the following: relevant information prompts, suggested responses, or historical related messages, thereby improving communication efficiency.
