Abstract

This application discloses a method configured for network management, and related devices, which relates to a field of computer network technology and aims to solve the problem of how to optimize network management. The method comprises: retrieving an APR table and a MAC table, wherein the APR table is used to store a mapping relationship between IP addresses and MAC addresses, and the MAC table is used to store a mapping relationship between VLAN IDs, MAC addresses, and switch ports; determining a mapping relationship between IP addresses, VLAN IDs, MAC addresses, and switch ports based on the APR table and MAC table; when detecting changes in a network environment, identifying a target switch port and issuing a network change notification, wherein the target switch port is a changed switch port, or a switch port / a MAC address corresponding to a changed IP address; and disabling the target switch port, or assigning an isolated VLAN ID to the target switch port.
