Abstract

Provided are an operating method of a user equipment and user equipment. The operating method comprises receiving, from a first base station, a positioning protocol (PP) message via signaling with the first base station, measuring, based on the PP message, a plurality of positioning reference signals (PRSs) comprising a first PRS of the first base station and a second PRS of a second base station and reporting, to the first base station, a result of the measuring of the plurality of PRSs. The measuring the plurality of PRSs comprises measuring, at a first timing, the first PRS and the second PRS. The second base station is a neighboring base station of the first base station. The first timing corresponds to a first time point at which the first PRS reaches the user equipment.
