Abstract

One embodiment is a biaxial extruder comprising: a cylinder (100) arranged along an axial direction and having a raw material supply port (120) for raw materials and a liquid supply port (130) for liquids; a raw material supply mechanism for supplying plant-based textured protein raw materials from the raw material supply port (120) to the cylinder (100); a liquid supply mechanism for supplying liquid mixed with the raw materials from the liquid supply port (130) to the cylinder (100); two screws (151, 152) rotatably disposed within the cylinder (100) for mixing the raw materials and liquids; a heater (180) divided into a plurality of zones along the axial direction for heating the cylinder (100); and a controller (400) for controlling the heater (180) for each zone.
