Abstract

This invention relates to a coffee machine having an upper and lower blade for grinding coffee beans, and provides a coffee machine that can shorten grinding time. The coffee machine GM and CM of this invention include: an upper blade 531, which has a first blade 531b formed downwards around a through hole 5310; a lower blade 541, which is arranged opposite to the upper blade 531, with a second blade 541b formed upwards; and a drive unit 540M, which drives the lower blade 541 to rotate in a predetermined rotational direction; and grinds coffee beans that are fed into the through hole 5310 and fall onto the lower blade 541 between the first blade 531b and the second blade 541b; and the lower blade 541 has an impeller 70 with a plurality of blades 70B at the position where the coffee beans fed into the through hole 5310 fall; the impeller 70 guides the coffee beans falling onto the lower blade 541 to the second blade 541b by rotating in the same positive rotational direction as the predetermined rotational direction of the lower blade 541.
