Abstract

An adhesive tissue covering may comprise a basement membrane and a biodegradable and biocompatible adhesive configured to bind to tissue. The adhesive may be positioned along one or more edges of the basement membrane. In some aspects, an adhesive tissue strip may comprise a basement membrane formed of at least one of a tissue-based material or an absorbable polymer, and a biodegradable and biocompatible adhesive configured to bind to tissue. The adhesive may be located on one side of the basement membrane of the adhesive tissue strip.
