Abstract

The absorbent material (1) also suppresses the stickiness of the topsheet containing cellulose fibers during repeated absorption of bodily fluids. The absorbent material (1) has: mutually orthogonal front-to-back direction (L), width direction (W), and thickness direction (T); an absorbent body (30) containing absorbent material; and a topsheet (10) disposed on the skin side (T1) closer to the skin than the absorbent body and in contact with the wearer's skin. The topsheet contains cellulose fibers. The cellulose fibers contain oils derived from natural oils, including at least one of linoleic acid, palmitic acid, and oleic acid. The natural oils are those that provide water repellency.
