The present invention is an absorbent article having a liquid-impermeable back sheet and a skin-side structure disposed on the skin side of the back sheet; the skin-side structure includes an absorbent body disposed directly on the skin side of the back sheet and a liquid-permeable top sheet disposed on the skin side of the absorbent body; having a non-fixed region formed by the back sheet and the skin-side structure not being fixed; the back sheet and the skin-side structure in the non-fixed region are slidable relative to each other; when the back sheet and the skin-side structure move relative to each other in the width direction, the back sheet has markings that are identifiable as deformed, appearing or disappearing, at least when viewed from the skin side. none
