Abstract

The objective of this invention is to improve the reliability of a flowing water sterilization device. The means by which this invention solves the objective is a flowing water sterilization device 10 comprising: a housing 12 having: a bottom 20; a side wall portion 22 extending axially from the outer periphery of the bottom 20; and a first flow port 24 for supplying water to be treated; a light source unit 14 disposed on the bottom 20 and irradiating ultraviolet light 18 axially; and a reactor 16 having: a treatment chamber 66 containing water to be treated; an outer peripheral surface 74 screwed onto the inner peripheral surface 38 of the side wall portion 22; an opposing portion 70 axially opposite to the light source unit 14; a main opening 76 provided on the opposing portion 70; and a second flow port 84 for supplying water to be treated.
