Abstract

The present invention provides a system and method for recovering valuable metals from blue sludge through an autoclave reaction. The system comprises an autoclave, a centrifugal filtration device, and precipitation devices. The present invention involves first performing an alkaline leaching reaction in the autoclave, followed by a centrifugation and filtration process to separate the alkaline leachate containing aluminum ions and the nickel-containing residue. The alkaline leachate containing aluminum ions is then subjected to a precipitation reaction to obtain an aluminum hydroxide product. The nickel-containing residue is subsequently subjected to an acid leaching reaction and a precipitation reaction to obtain a nickel hydroxide product. This method allows for the rapid and efficient separation of aluminum ions and nickel ions from blue sludge without the need for pretreatment, thereby improving the recovery rate of metals from the blue sludge.
