Abstract

The disclosure provides a method of manufacturing a hydrogen-producing photocatalyst substrate and a hydrogen-producing photocatalyst substrate manufactured by the same. The method of manufacturing a hydrogen-producing photocatalyst substrate including providing a substrate, mixing a porous binding agent and a photocatalyst to form a photocatalyst solution, coating the photocatalyst solution on the substrate to form a panelized photocatalyst, preparing and applying a metal cocatalyst solution on the panelized photocatalyst, performing a photodeposition treatment to form a hydrogen-producing photocatalyst substrate, and purifying the hydrogen-producing photocatalyst substrate. After performing the photodeposition treatment, the metals of the metal cocatalyst solution are adhered to a surface of the photocatalyst. The concentration distribution of the metal is decreasing from a top surface downward of the panelized photocatalyst.
